Nice Airport → Villefranche-sur-Mer transfer
Villefranche-sur-Mer is among the closest neighbours to Nice Airport: barely ten kilometres east along the Basse Corniche. Its deep harbour, colourful old town and fishing-village atmosphere make it one of the Riviera's most sought-after stops.
A short journey along the sea
Villefranche-sur-Mer lies about 10 kilometres from Nice Airport, roughly 15 minutes by road under normal conditions. The Basse Corniche hugs the sea and serves the town directly; the A8 offers a faster alternative when coastal traffic is heavy.
It is one of the shortest transfers on the Côte d'Azur, but one worth organising when you arrive with luggage or head for an address up in the town's steep heights.
Villefranche harbour and cruise calls
The bay of Villefranche is one of the deepest in the Mediterranean: large cruise ships anchor there and tender their passengers ashore, right into the heart of the town. For cruise visitors, every minute counts, and a punctual transfer from the airport or to the quay makes the difference.
Your chauffeur drops you as close as possible to the harbour, your hotel or the embarkation point, with no hunting for parking in a busy historic centre.
What to see: old town, Cocteau and nearby Cap-Ferrat
Villefranche's old town charms with its colourful lanes, the mysterious covered Rue Obscure and the Saint-Pierre chapel decorated by Jean Cocteau. The Saint-Elme Citadel watches over the bay.
Villefranche is also the gateway to neighbouring Cap-Ferrat, and just minutes from Nice, Èze or Monaco: an ideal base for exploring the Riviera.
Why a private transfer
The train links Nice-Ville to Villefranche in a few minutes, but you first have to reach the station and then handle an often steep arrival. With cases, a door-to-door private transfer is far simpler.
The chauffeur greets you on arrival, handles your luggage and tracks your flight to adjust the timing in case of delay. The fare is set in advance as a package or a quote.
